I'm sure I had a sexual identity at one time. I just can't remember where I put it. Bobby

Bobby,

This one is so spot on. It made me smile for a moment, and then reflect seriously. I have often found my issues so frustratingly complicated that all I could do was joke about them. And then I would think further and discover that my humor, however helpful as humor at the moment, was really onto something.

My comment at the stage you are talking about would have been something like this:

Quote:
There are so many sexual identities on this rack; they all look alike from here. I don't really want to try them all on to discover which one is mine.
Much love,
Larry

Bobby,
I totally relate. It's like I KNOW who I am but can't reconcile the brain and the emotions.

Thanks for such succinct, yet, profound statement of who many of us are.

God Bless...

Oh, if only we could just smile and accept our human foibles (and sexualities) as easily as this on a regular/daily basis.
We (I) seem to get so hung up on labels, roles, expectations of others (and our own expectations).
Pity!
Think of all the roses that don't get smelled because we're too wrapped up in ourselves most of the time.
Love, etc.,

George,

Your post reminds me of a great one-liner that Dewey2k came up with last year:

Quote:
Labels are for cans.
Much love,
Larry
