i just got home from Reither's market -
i had lunch - lasagna - and a knockwurst -
with a small cucumber and tomato salad -
green iced tea -
and a lindt dark chocolat bar - for afters -
i sat at the counter by the window and watched the action go by -....
some very handsome faces -
some not so handsome faces...
some just nice faces... with kindness - or
maybe someone i would like to talk to
i saw Scott who works with the Homeless shelter
pass by -
we've had a really interesting discussion about
sociology - and societal and self reflecting -
he mentioned "Piaget" and ideas that were cool
to hear.
and then i gazesd about -
i saw this older guy - lovely blue eyes -
walks with a cane and leans severely to one side -
he came in - and kibbutzed some with the elders -
hangin out -
a flirty old german bird - made him blush -
then he managed again along his slanted way.
writing all this -
i just need to -
i stopped by Mr. Pusateri's Market -
he in his early 70s maybe - scurrying to the back of the market - pats my shoulder ---
hello young man!
and then young ladies at the cash - so
as expected - chinese - quiet - and so canadian
polite.
i came toward home with my 2% milk
and came back to the bearfoot inn.
where i am until - i leave on Wednesday am
