Thanks for thinking of this Marc, we needed this chance to show ourselves more than anyone else what is good about us. - I am honest
- I am funny
- I like taking something bad that's happened to me, and doing something positive by helping others, which in turn helps me even more.
- I love myself now, and I deserve that (actually I always did, but didn't know it)

what is good about me? i was first chair tenor sax many moons ago, does that count? honestly, i really can't think of anything. the words that come to mind are those that resound of honor and compassion, with a wicked sense of humor that is often so subtle those who know me little keep feeling that stiff breeze over their head, and those that know me well keep wanting to give me the finger on general principle every time i open my trap...go figure  .

Guys I majored in BS, I failed all my exams, but was careful to tell prospective employers that I had "taken" whatever it was they were looking for - never failed me yet What am I good at ? ( other than BS ) I "TRY" - I don't always succeed or or get it right, but I try. Dave

I've been watching this thread and wondering if I could contribute.
Some people have told me that I am a good person, even a courageous person. I'm going to try believing that instead of finding reasons to refute it.

This is a hard one, since even accepting praise is uncomfortable, let alone giving it to myself. But I will try and see. Let's seeeeeee:
1. Father - Have raised 2 daughters without beating or molesting them (have broken the cycle). They're both straight A students, never give us any problems, so apparently it works!
2. Service - Spend every Thursday evening in our church's soup-kitchen serving up food to those less fortunate
3. Service - Editor and Treasurer for our county historical society
