How are you guys doing?

I guess I am ok, but I have moved to Moscow, and naturally quit my prvious job. Now I am searching for a new job. Tomorrow there going to be the first interview. I am rather calm, but still I need your support.

Good luck with the interview tomorrow. I think it's natural to be nervous ahead of time, but just try to think strategically and ask yourself why they should take YOU instead of someone else. Then see if you can raise those points in your interview.

You walk into that interview know that the job is yours, not that you have a chance for it.

I have except one occassion got every job I have interviewed for(damn lack of a college ed) A positive attitude with a possitive appearence sets it off.

So walk in there chin held high and get what is yours. And if you dont get it, o well their loss on a good employee.

take what the above post says seriosly. I have had the same experince, the only job I interviewd for and didnt get was a job at the gap. However right now I have a hard time with flashbacks. It came up in the last job, eventhough I was able to hide them well. Good luck on your job serch. you are a good employe and it is there loss if they dont hire you. You got this.

I guess my two interviews were not very good. In both cases the job offered to me was not what I thought it would be. Phoneys, and misinformators did their job... However, a gedree of confidence, I got from your replies. They helped.

I hope I'll find another job.

Hi,

I would like to thank you once again for your support. Also I want to tell you a story of one of the interviews that I had. It was not good. I am shocked.

"Triggers"

The interview was approaching its end when that lady said that I'll need, above all, to make a "test task" at home. I had been seeking a position of marketing researcher, and she said I would make a data analysis and make a presentation in English. All for free! I said "no, give me a probation period and pay money." She also said "no" and when I was turning around to take my clothes, she grabbed a copy of my resume, ripped it and put in the trash can. I did not even leave the room...

It was shock. I didn't realize it at the time, but I recalled what had happened hours later. I am glad that left those people as fast as I could.
It was a hard day.

Guys, I hope that your good advises will apply to me someday. Also I know that it is not bad that didn't get that job. The more important thing is to believe that after failures, I'll still find a suitable and enjoyable work. Wish me good luck.

One thing that a survivor often find it difficult to do is stand his ground when he knows he is being used and exploited.

So congratulations! You figured out in a second what was going on and you refused to be exploited. Let her tear up your application and throw it in the trash can. It sounds like the trash can is the place where that job belongs anyway.
