it's raining here -
it's so great. just rain rain rain
my fan is going - it's quiet save the sound
of the dropping and sheeting rain
a 'movie house' day - or a day to sit
and read
anybody for popcorn or brownies?

Rain here too, Mark. 95 degrees as well! Not real pleasant.  You'd think this was Georgia or something. Staying inside is OK tho. Gotta love air conditioning! John

I live in the rain capital of the universe, it can rain non-stop for weeks here.
Lately it has only been raining at night, and sub tropical during the day.
What wouldnt I give for a massive lightning storm!
I love that stuff, and it sure clears the air.

holy crap ste -
I was up at North York - north of Toronto
There was the largest rainstorm - bar non -
that i have ever been in -
i had to hold on to the side of the CIBC edifice
I became petrified -
and drenched -
lightening BIG
rain - sideways
cold gail force winds -
INLAND
confusing -
and then I made it inside -
when the subway made it downtown
the winds had mellowed
and deluge was now rain
confused but
- suddenly just glad to get out of the dripping clothes and slept
it's now brilliant sunshine -

I have always loved rain so long as I don't have to drive or walk through it.  Seems so renewing and refreshing, especially if it's a deluge! Much love, Larry

Mark,
lightning storms are so revitalising, and some of the best ones I saw were in Germany or the Continent of Europe.
They ionize the air, and everything is fresh after a storm because it takes all the crap out of the air.

Damn I jealous I want rain too. Friggin High desert nuttin but brown.
Man I miss Europe what a beautiful place and lots o rain

I swear - I never felt so bizarrely frightened by a rain deluge -
It was suddenly FREEZING -
and my clothes were so wet it was as if I jumped in a tub of water - truly -
I couldn't walk into the wind - it was bizarre and scary - will I live?
is this it?
The Bank windows rattled - and I held on to the side of the building which had an outcropping - and blocked the stuff partially -
As I finally made it to the subway - people smiled -
my shoes were like two industrial sponges as I walked - they squished out water.
