I can't watch TODAY today, I don't have time today, so I have to tape it and watch it tomorrow, which will make it yesterday...

You know I was on TODAY once, I think it was 1997.

I can't even BEGIN to come up with a response to that!

Hey I just remembered a movie!

Real Genius

Quote:
Something strange happened to me this morning.

Was it a dream where you see yourself in, sort of, Sun God robes, on a pyramid, with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?

No.

Why am I the only person that has that dream?

I just found what you will either think is the coolest site or the dumbest site, depending on your taste in humor.

useless movie quotes

Quote:
Hey, how come Andrew gets to get up? If he gets up . . . we'll all get up . . . it'll be anarchy!
Name that movie!

When I was a young kid, my Mom used to let me stay up late, een though I had to go to school the next day.

At that time (B.C. - before cable), NBC had Today, Tonight, and Tomorrow shows.

Now, I could understand watching "the Tonight Show" as it started at 11:30 p.m., E.T. It was still tonight.

And I could understand watching "the Today Show," because it began at 7 a.m. E.T. It was Today, after all.

But "Tomorrow?" It started at 1 a.m. E.T., so it wasn't "Tomorrow," it was today. But "Today" didn't start until "Later" (Oh, God, not THIS now!), and it wouldn't be tomorrow until 12 a.m., when "Tonight" was on, and it wasn't tonight anymore, but tomorrow..................

MY BRAIN HURTS!!!!!!!!!!! (Monty Python's G.B. Gumby's voice)

\:D :p

Amazing, This started as a movie thread. Now there's only puns. When will it all end?

Oh, by the way, in keeping with my original idea....Saw "Spider-Man 2." It rocks!

Peace and love,

Scot

We are man, we are! But I HATED the Brat Pack, so why the Hell would I watch a movie FEATURING them?

Except Molly Ringwald. She was as cute as a button.

And Emilio Estevez. HE was as cute as a button too, and I'm always attracted to the "bad boys."

Again, DAMN my sexual abiguity!

(ahem)

Anyway, see "Spider-Man 2." (Sexual ambiguity sense tingling!)

\:D

Oh, by the way, since I'm rambling anyway, they reissued the "Spider-Man" DVD with a thrid disc of "new" material to promote the sequal. I ALREADY have the first one, but they've included new material to make me want to buy the damn thing over again! Shameless! Has anyone noticed that DVD's are fast becoming a marketing whore's dream? I mean, how many versions of THE SAME DAMN MOVIE DO THEY WANT ME TO BUY?!? This crap started with older movies, then it was raised to a frigging art form with "The Lord of the Rings!"

(ahem)

I'm back from my tangents. I trust you all have enjoyed the trip.

Anyway, see "Fahrenheit 911." And don't elect Bush this time either.

Sorry.

Peace and love,

Scot \:D

Scott,

I won't watch anything made by THAT man. I don't know why he claims this to be his 'hometown', it isn't . But I won't go there and sorry for mentioning it. \:D

Curtis,

Molly is quite as a button.

This week I saw four movies (videoes/DVDs) :
50 First Dates. So-so, but Drew Berrymore is darn cute.
Chasing Liberty. Now this was a good movie.
Master and Commander. Not as good as the Horatio Hornblowers on A&E.
Lion King 1-1/2. Maybe they should have called it 1-1/4, because it is about a 1/4 as good as Lion King.

[edited to correct name of movie]
