Thanks for posting this. Your telling of a "Best Moment" makes me think of my own daughter. So pretty, so full of fun. I remember watching her birth and the first time I held her in my arms. I too remember the first time she told me she loved me. And like you, the good comes mixed with the bad. Because I remember how my heart was ripped out when I found out that she had been raped. I remember how I felt like a failure as a father because I could not protect her. But life goes on, and more good things happen and more bad things too. The key is to cherish the moments that are good and remember them. Because it is those good memories that help us get through the bad times. Thanks again for starting this thread, it has helped me.
