other forum I go at some, occasionally they post things called 'grats', things they are grateful for. It seems that with so much so bad, maybe it is good to remember that there are things that are good also. So here are some things I am grateful for.
I am making myself eat more, and have regained 4 pounds this week of the almost 40 I lost since dealing of this.
Antibiotics are FINALLY helping, and I not have fevers or feel like crap for four or five days now.
Friends I meet on here, such good people, such amazing men.
Being able to 'talk' with people on computer, without having to deal of the phone.
Knowing I am not some freak, some bad bad person because this happen at me.
Learning more of myself, and the 'others' who are myself, and learning to accept it some.
My dog, who loves me as long as I feed him and be good at him.
Susanna. I do not even have to say anything of her.
I hope others have things they are grateful of.

Leosha I am happy to see this post. You are right. So often we can only see the negative. Things I am grateful for: Being alive Having people come into my life in times of need My wife and daughter Good health (physical) still not sure about the emotional or mental knowing everyone here think that I make a difference is someones life Being able to make friendships by being myself Overcoming my substance abuse (2) No more acting out Gaining self respect Recognizing that there is joy in living Realizing that it was not my fault AND MANY MORE THAT I CANNOT EVEN COUNT

"If I'm worried and I can't sleep, I count my blessings instead of sheep, and I fall asleep counting my blessings.
If my bankroll starts getting small, I think back when I had none at all, and I fall asleep counting my blessings."
Any one remember that one? NO, probably not, you're all younger than 75.
But, where would I be if it hadn't been for:
Ranata,
Jenny and Angie,
That counselor that said that I could make it the Army,
Dr. Wilcox
Dr. Crawshaw
Dr. Berthelsdorf......for real
all of those who shall remain nameless
aaaaallllllllllllll of you guys
my faith
my mind, as limited as it is
hope

This is a great thread leo, you are quite right, some things I am grateful for:
My friends online, who understand me and teach me, especially Leosha.
For the frends I work with, they are so understanding when I need time.
For life in general, it is a gift, even if at times it does not fell as such.
For being able to be "me" online, in the real world I "fake it until I make it"
For music, it is soothing, and an outlet.
FOr being able to write, it is a great ay to "let it out"
For the wisdom that has come from all my suffering.
