Thad I guess I dont qualify for the post you talk about. There is no allowance for being a raving lunatic who not only can remember where his car keys are but often times forgets that he took his car someplace and forgot to retrieve it.

Additionally I am totally irrational when exposed to ice cream or chocolate truffles. I have a Jeckle and Hyde persona there. Again no qualification. :p

I always thought anyway that a Mod was a member of the Mod Squad on TV.
Am I the only one who can remember that.

Hello All,

As the newest chat room Mod Squad member, I have some comments based on my direct experience here. With the chat admin requierements clarified, I am comforted to know the range and details of the selection and evaluation criteria that I met. Thank you Thad for removing all my fears, delusions and doubts. A man is known by the company he keeps as they say.

As a new mod, I find that the list is woefully incomplete without the following three qualifications:

TOOTHLESS To eliminate all pain from biting one's tongue.

DYSLEXIC AND BLIND To be able to comprehend my typo-laden messages. (This post is not an example.)

MINDLESS To feel like you are making a contribution by bringing a fresh prespective to each and every situation.

Thad, superlative job as always. The following qualities of your leadership demonstrate the man you are:

Actually, Mod Squad was off limits to us. But we were allowed to watch Batman, Dark Shadows (which scared the crap out of me) and later Hawaii Five-O (however it was spelled). Not a lot of consistency that I can see there. Except that these are all fantastic creations, and we watched reality based shows like Johnny Quest and the Herculoids on Saturdays.

OK, way out there now.
