A few of the people who went down on the jets from Boston I worked with. We weren't exactly friends, but the loss was a bit more personal for me because of them.
Every person lost in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania was important to someone, and I wish I could say their loss wasn't in vain.
We still haven't learned a damn thing if we're losing people to hate.
I hope from this day forward, those who are capable of reaching out to people on the brink of becoming haters do so. Perhaps we can turn one person away from desperate acts that harm innocents.
Perhaps we can bring an end to scourges like those that have hit the U.S., Spain, England, Russia, Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and too many damn other places.
Remember the fallen from everywhere, and rededicate yourself to peace everywhere.
