her book's a good read - but as i remember it avoids her rape as a youth. Alice Marble.

it was wild - the book was pretty obscure - but I was drawn to it. I just wanted to share. A tough good person, in my view. The way she writes - is plain.

the 'spy thing' is tough to swallow -

but those were really intense times -

she'd lost everything - so..

i knew a woman in LA - who was a spy in Japan - during the War as well -
a family friend's mom.

a chubby older woman - very nice -

but as a girl - was shockingly dramatic in looks -

and intelligent - she made me lunch in her kitchen when i delivered her something she needed.

she was very nice. now passed \:\(

her portrait as a youg woman showed what she was like. Her husband was a doctor. but he had passed before I knew him.

Anyway - this has nothing to do with Alice Marble.
