To the MaleSurvivor Board and those who operate this discussion board I ask that you please consider establsishing a seperate forum for "survivors of Clergy Abuse". I am myself a survivor of clergy abuse and, at times, would like to talk to those with this specific abuse history.

Side note, I am a former MaleSurvivor Board member who has strongly advocated for the existance of this discussion board in general. Obviously I still believe in this very powerful tool. I hope you will consider my request.

That sounds like a good idea to me, but in the interim I hope you will feel free to raise any clergy abuse issues you want in the regular Male Survivor forum. The topic title will draw a lot of comments and generate a lively discussion, as there are more than a few of us here for whom this type of abuse is a special problem. There have been good threads on this in the past, but yes, it would be helpful if they were focused all in one forum.

"Clergy abuse" is abuse at the hands of a memebr of the clergy (catholic priests or other religious leaders).
