i just tried to join and the following error occurred:

Error executing the following transactions: General Fund Endowment Fund Memorial Fund Membership

then when i tried to email on the contact us page, ANOTHER error occurred :

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@malesurvivor.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

My experience with this problem when I joined last fall was that it worked on my desktop computer but not on my laptop. From that I deduced that the security settings on my browser were set too high. Either that or my firewall was set differently. You might try checking those things.

I suspect that since you seem to have paid, all that need to happen is for Nathan to put the correct flag in your profile to get you access to the members areas to which you are entitled to go. That is something that needs to be done manually.

Since his position is a volunteer one, I imagine he is busy enjoying his weekend somplace in the sun where all those young bucks hang out! You could harass him with another PM or two

Hopefully this will get straightened out for you soon. Let's hope so.

Just for the record:

Everyone on the website administration/moderator team is a volunteer. Everyone but one person on the "real life" side is a volunteer too, including the Board of Director members.

I would give Nathan a big raise, too. At least 50% of what he's making now.

You can sign up for membership by clicking on the light blue "MaleSurvivor membership" box in the upper right corner of this page. There is a sliding dues scale depending on your income.

If you have difficulty just try again in a few days. The site is being moved to a new server and there are quite a few bugs to work out.

I just used the new page for memberships, renewals, and donations, to renew my membership for another year, and to make a donation.

After I submitted my transaction The page came back up informing me that the transaction was successful.

I guess that means things are now working normally
