It's nice to read how everyone else has these troubles. I thought I was a rare head-case with this. I can remember some things with amazing accuracy but other things slip out of mind almost instantly. There's not much logic to what stays and what goes other than the more logic-based something is the more likely my mind will clench it.

When I was paralyzed, I lost my memory completely. I couldn't even remember what my name was at the time. I've gained a lot of it back but struggle on a daily (and minute by minute) basis to remember things. Sometimes it improves but if I'm stressed, forget it... it ain't worth a sht. And before the paralysis, I had one of the best memories. I could memorize just about anything in no time at all.

Memory problems..... they used to refer to me as ''Alex in Wonderland'' at work now I see why.

I have memory problems with the inanities of life. I had no problems remembering what I had to earlier this year in court. The only problem I had with that, was knowing for 17 months that I couldn't loose a single detail because I had to 'hit the target' in court! The b*****d then pleaded guilty, then tried to withdraw that plea!

When I made my statement to the police, I had no problems remembering, even after 35 years!

my t put me on adderoll which helped a lot but now i don't want to take it coz i keep yelling at people and think that might be why

mostly i just cant organize things in my head.
i was told it was cause of dissassociation (sp!?)
